McIntosh – Gillis
Mr. and Mrs. Larry McIntosh of Fayetteville are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Dawn McIntosh, to Robert David Gillis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Gillis Jr. of Franklin, La.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Preston and Bettie Cope, and the late Ernest and Mildred McIntosh of Fayetteville.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Jane Sloan and the late Daniel Sloan of Pineville, La., and Odein Gillis and the late Claude Gillis of Alexandria, La.
The bride-elect is a graduate of South View High School. She graduated from Fayetteville Technical Community College, where she is currently employed as an instructor.
The groom is a graduate of Franklin High School and Louisiana Technical School. He is employed as an electronics technician.
The couple plans to marry on Saturday, June 9, 2012, in Fayetteville.
They will continue to live in Hope Mills.
